Şerif Doğançay

Şerif Doğançay is a young photojournalist and visual storytelling student focused on journalism and field-based reporting. Born in 1995, he is currently a senior student in the Department of Photography and Camerawork at Nişantaşı University. With a strong interest in visual narrative and news production, he aims to build his career as a professional photojournalist. His work centers on combining photography with journalistic storytelling, particularly in photo-reportage and news writing, and he seeks to produce impactful stories from the field that highlight social realities and current events. He studies Photography and Camerawork at Nişantaşı University (Senior Year – Ongoing) and previously graduated from Pera Fine Arts High School, Music Department. He completed a News Editing Internship at TYT Türk Channel, where he assisted in writing and editing news scripts, monitored daily developments and current affairs, supported newsroom content production, and actively participated in news writing and editorial structuring. His fields of interest include photojournalism, news photography, photo-reportage, and visual storytelling.
