Tolga Subaşı

Tolga Subaşı is a professional photographer and photography educator with extensive academic and practical experience in visual arts. He began his photography education at Çanakkale 18 Mart University and continued with graduate studies in Photography at Kocaeli University Faculty of Fine Arts and Marmara University. Throughout his career, he has taught photography courses at private institutions, public organizations, and universities, while also mentoring emerging photographers. Beyond teaching, Subaşı actively produces photographic work across diverse conceptual and thematic areas. His practice focuses on street photography, nature photography, and concept-driven projects that emphasize the exploration of visual meaning and narrative. In addition to his photographic production, he engages in research and reflection on the academic and contemporary development of photography as an art form. His work and interests include conceptual photography, street photography, nature photography, contemporary photography theory, and visual storytelling.
